Food Pantry

Metropolitan AME Zion hosts a food pantry once a month. Food will be distributed at 12:30 p.m. on the third Saturday of the month (unless otherwise noted) at the Runyon Heights Community Center, 21 Runyon Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10710.

Child Care
Westchester County provides financial help with day care payments to eligible families. This financial help is known as Child Day Care Assistance. There is a mandatory parent share fee.
Parents may call (914) 995-6521 or 995-6522 to speak with the application supervisor. The office is located at 10 County Center Rd., 2nd Fl., White Plains, NY 10607.
Form 536
The Child Care Provider Form 536, available in English and Spanish, is required to establish or change an authorized child care schedule.
Homework Help
Dial-A-Teacher provides free homework support for children in kindergarten through 12th grade. It is available Monday through Thursday from 4 pm to 7 pm. The phone number is 212-777-3380.
